ABOUT Q’S SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT BAR   

Q’s Sports and Entertainment bar has a history old holding disability snooker events having previously been used by the DSE.

There are 18 tables, and there is a comfortable lounge, fully licensed bar, hot meals and snacks for players and spectators (at the individuals’ own expense).

Competitors must declare all prosthetics and sport specific aids when entering an event as it may change their group and/or profile.  It should also be declared when requesting classification.

FRIDAY 18th March 2016

A day of coaching and practice. Coaching sessions, free for all entrants. Coaching sessions will start at 11:00am and finish at 5:00pm. There will be a free buffet provided during this free coaching session.

At 6:00pm there will be a meeting with players and tournament staff, to confirm profiling/grouping of new players, confirm participants, decide seeding (if appropriate) and confirm the schedule for the remainder of the weekend’s events.

SATURDAY 19th March 2016

The Championship proper gets underway, with separate draws for each of the FIVE Groups (details of profiles and grouping of profiles is given later in this notice). Players should register by 10:00am for a prompt start at 10:30am. All matches will be best of three frames.

SUNDAY 20th March 2016

The Championship concludes, with matches commencing at 10:00am. There will be plate competitions for those who have not made it to the final day of the main competitions.
