Funding to Encourage Sporting Activity in Deprived & Physically Inactive Areas (England)

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, grants of up to £5,000 are being made available to help England Boxing member clubs to recover and grow, and to continue to support sporting activity within deprived and disadvantaged communities across the country.

The funding, which is made available by Sport England through the England Boxing Together Fund, will support projects aimed at women & girls, lower socio-economic groups, ethnically diverse communities, and disability & inclusion.

Larger grants may be awarded in exceptional circumstances and can be used to cover costs including staff costs, training workshops and courses, facility hire, equipment, IT costs and insurance.

A minimum of 25% of all grants awarded must go towards workforce development costs.

The deadline for applications is 1:00am on the 30th September 2022.
