£5 Million Fund to Tackle Youth Crime Through Sport (England & Wales)

Charities across England and Wales are invited to apply for a share of £5 million in funding to run sports programmes designed to steer young people away from crime, anti-social behaviour, and serious violence.

The aim of the funding is to prevent young people from disadvantaged backgrounds from becoming involved in crime or anti-social behaviour by offering them sporting activities aimed at teaching teamwork, resilience and discipline.

The funding is made available by the Ministry of Justice and delivered by StreetGames, the Sport for Development Coalition, and the Alliance of Sport in Criminal Justice.

The closing date for applications is the 5th December 2022.
